Carrollton City Curbside Services
TRASH PICKUP
The City of Carrollton residents can currently participate in the trash and yard debris pickup services. The city’s public works department picks up household garbage weekly on Mondays for locations west of Highway 27, and on Tuesdays for locations on the east side of Highway 27. For a street-specific schedule, click here.
- Please place garbage containers out by 7 am on your scheduled day for collection.

YARD DEBRIS PICKUP
Debris and yard trimmings are picked up on alternating weeks. For more information on the schedule and rules, visit the Carrollton Garbage & Debris Collection website.
Debris and yard trimmings are picked up on alternating weeks.
Leaves and Grass Clippings
Grass clippings and leaves must be placed in brown paper bags or a city-issued brown bin. Plastic bags are not permitted – they are not compatible with the machines at the county transfer station. Bagging (or binning) prevents stormwater drain clogs and reduces hazardous conditions on sidewalks and streets
Brown Bins
Carrollton Water Department now offers a brown wheeled bin (similar to the garbage bin) to make collecting your debris easier. The cost to order a bin is $30. If you would like a brown bin, a one-time charge will be added to your utility bill. Only city-issued brown bins may be used due to truck compatibility requirements.
Brush, Limbs and Logs
Sticks, limbs and logs should be cut into four-foot or smaller lengths and placed into piles for pick up. They do not need to be bagged or binned.
