[Carrollton, March 14, 2025] – On Saturday, March 8, Confirmation students from Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church dedicated their time to cleaning up Knox Park, earning valuable volunteer hours while making an impact on the community.
The students worked diligently, collecting so much trash that the cleanup event had to end early after they ran out of trash bags. By the end of the effort, the filled bags packed an entire truck bed, showcasing the incredible dedication and hard work of the volunteers.
Knox Park is a cherished space for local residents, and the students’ efforts help ensure it remains clean and welcoming for all. Keep Carroll Beautiful extends its gratitude to Our Lady of Perpetual Help for organizing this community service event, and to the Confirmation students for their dedication to making a difference.
Special thanks also go to OLPH High School Coordinator, Yazmin Garcia, and KCB Intern Jary Zelaya-Hernandez, who volunteers at OLPH, for their support in making this event a success.
