Keep Carroll Beautiful Celebrates 20 Years with Community Recycled Mural – Call for Donations!

Carrollton, GA – February 26, 2025 — Keep Carroll Beautiful (KCB) is excited to announce a vibrant and meaningful new public art installation in honor of its 20th anniversary! This special milestone will be celebrated with a unique mural made entirely from recyclable materials, showcasing the community’s commitment to sustainability and creative reuse.

The mural will be a collaborative effort, symbolizing the unity and dedication of Carroll County residents to environmental conservation. To bring this vision to life, we need your help! KCB is calling on the community to donate clean, colorful, and reusable items that will be incorporated into the artwork.

We are seeking the following recyclable materials:

  • Old pens and pencils
  • Cardboard
  • Paintbrushes
  • Rope
  • Colored ribbons
  • Egg cartons
  • Small plastic toy parts
  • Colored ceramic tile
  • Pill bottles
  • Garden hose
  • Container lids
  • Plastic items
  • Small, colorful junk pieces

Donations can be dropped off at Keep Carroll Beautiful, 213 Bradley St., Carrollton, GA, during business hours: Tuesday through Friday, 10 AM to 2 PM. Every contribution, big or small, will help create a stunning visual representation of Carrollton’s commitment to sustainability.
