
Carrollton, GA – February 7, 2025 – Keep Carroll Beautiful is pleased to announce the upcoming Spring TIRED of TIRES amnesty recycling event, hosted in collaboration with the Carroll County Government and Carroll County Sheriff’s Office.
Tired of Tires will be held from Saturday, April 12th, to Saturday, April 19th, at the Carroll County Transfer Station on 439 Simonton Mill Road, during the opening hours of 8 am to 3:30 pm, except Sunday, April 20th. Residents are encouraged to bring up to 10 passenger vehicle tires (PVT), free of charge. Please note that larger tires will be converted into PVT equivalent and be subject to the 10-tire rule. Tires on rims will not be accepted. For individuals with mobility issues, assistance unloading tires will be available on both Saturdays from 9 am to 1 pm.
Funding for this amnesty event is provided in part by the STAR EPD Program, which supports the collection and recycling of passenger vehicle tires in the State of Georgia.
