Carrollton, GA – February 7, 2025 – Keep Carroll Beautiful is set to hold its bi-annual Electronics Recycling amnesty collection event this spring. The upcoming SPRING Electronics Recycling event will be held at two convenient locations on Saturday, April 26th, 2025, between 9 am and 1 pm. This year’s event will take place in the Southwire corporate parking lot at 1 Southwire Drive in Carrollton AND the Villa Rica V-PLEX facility at 2200 Carrollton-Villa Rica Highway.Â
This event is the perfect opportunity to spring-clean closets and attics and clear out all broken, outdated, and unneeded electronic devices. The following items will be accepted at the event: cell and smartphones, tablets, analog phones, fax machines, gaming systems, computers, laptops, Chromebooks, and all computer accessories such as keyboards and speakers, printers, and screens. Cameras, camcorders, video cameras, radios, cassette players, CD and DVD players, speakers (with the exception of wood-cased speakers), and all cords and cables, including Christmas lights, will also be collected. While most TVs (CRT, LCD, LED) are accepted, KCB cannot collect projection, console, and wood-cased TVs at this event.Â
The SPRING E-Recycling event is NOT accepting large appliances, such as washers, dryers, and refrigerators. Small appliances such as blenders, mixers, microwaves, vacuums, lamps of any type, table or ceiling fans, personal grooming items such as hair dryers, clippers, razors, curling irons; power tools or power tool batteries, thermostats and electric thermometers; and trash or any other recycling will NOT be accepted either.
