CHANGES TO CITY OF CARROLLTON CURBSIDE RECYCLE PROGRAM
(Carrollton, Ga.– August 31, 2009) – Beginning on Monday, August 31, 2009, the City of Carrollton will assume the duties of collecting the curbside recycling. This means that the recycling truck will follow your regular trash truck and be emptied at the same time. As well, it is requested that citizens no longer put any glass in the blue bins to be recycled. This ban on glass is temporary while a solution is worked out. Citizens will be alerted once the contamination issue is rectified. Thank you to all participants in the recycling program. Together you diverted over 700 tons of recycling from the landfill in the first year of the program. If you have any further questions, please call Keep Carroll Beautiful at 678-890-2361 or email Jacqueline@keepcarrollbeautiful.org
