Executive Director, Jacqueline Dost, was invited to present a family recycling program at the Neva Lomason Memorial Library on Saturday, July 11. Those in attendance were presented with a flower pot made from recycled tires* in which they planted sunflowers. They were also taught about recycling correctly – what can and cannot be recycled in the city of Carrollton and in Carroll County. After the presentation, everyone was treated to Lorax inspired refreshments and a screening of the TV version of the Lorax film.

Part of the presentation included reading the story book: The Wartville Wizard. The children really enjoyed the story and pledged to never litter.
